Founded in 1989, Scott Engineering Services Ltd. is a family-run business originally established in the village of Catrine, Ayrshire. We are now based nearby at Highhouse Industrial Estate in Auchinleck. Over the past 37 years, we have built a reputation for supplying high-quality materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and dependable engineering solutions.

The majority of our work is carried out within the construction industry. We undertake metal work contracts on a range of projects from basic gates and handrails to detailed balustrading and balcony rails, from single dwellings to apartment blocks. We also specialize in the manufacture and installation of structural steel products. We operate and maintain a Quality Management System based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 : 2015 and in addition we comply with CE/UKCA Marking to Execution Class 2. Our health and safety within the business is second to none and we have achieved a ‘Worksafe Contractor Membership Certificate’ through SMAS and SSIP.

Although the supply of steel products within the construction industry is our main focus, our business was originally established to fabricate gates, rails, handrails etc. for the private sector. We have continued to design and manufacture our gates and rails, incorporating both our own designs and those designed by our clients. These products are manufactured in our workshop and fitted by our trained staff.
